PROBE LAUNCHED OVER SOUTH BELFAST ARSON ATTACK ON DERELICT PROPERTY

musgrave psniPOLICE are appealing for information following an arson incident at a derelict property on the Donegall Road area of South Belfast at the weekend.

Detective Constable Lyttle said: “It was reported at 8.40 pm on Sunday that a house was on fire.

“Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service attended and extinguished the fire which it is believed was started deliberately.

“Police are appealing for anyone who may have noticed suspicious behaviour in the Donegall Road area around 8.00pm on Sunday evening to contact detectives at Musgrave station on 101.

“Alternatively, information can be provided anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
