THE PSNI in Newtownards are advising the public to keep an eye out of thieves.

It follows reports relating to the theft of lead from two premises close to the town centre this week.

A spokesperson said: “Combined with recent downpours this has caused major problems for some victims.

“Please remember to report any suspicious activity to police on 101 or in an emergency 999.”
