POLICE say it has been another busy week for our Reducing Offending Unit:
A 19yr old man was arrested and charged in respect of 2 x burglary. He was brought before the next available court and was remanded in custody.
A 17yr old youth was arrested and charged with 11 offences including; burglary, theft and 4 x criminal damage. He was brought before the next available court where he was subsequently released on court bail.
A 20yr old man was arrested and charged with handling stolen goods and TADA. He will appear later this month at Laganside Magistrate’s Court. He was also arrested in respect of 2 x burglary and bailed pending further police enquiries.
A 16yr old youth was arrested and charged with witness intimidation, threats to commit criminal damage, common assault and assault on police. He was brought before the next available court and remanded in custody.
A 34yr old man was arrested and charged with 4 x criminal damage, possession of an offensive weapon, possession of a class b drug and possession of a class b drug with intent to supply. He was brought before the next available court where he was released on court bail.
A 20yr old man was arrested in respect of breach of court bail, he was subsequently remanded in custody.
A 22yr old man was also arrested in respect of breach of court bail, he too was remanded in custody.
A 17yr old youth was arrested in respect of breach of court bail, he was subsequently released to abide by his bail conditions.
