THREE MEN WANTED OVER WEST BELFAST SHOP ROBBERY

Willowfield psni stationDETECTIVES in west Belfast are appealing for information following a robbery in the Blackmountain Grove area of Belfast on the evening of Monday, 6th October.

It is reported that at approximately 7.15pm, three unknown males entered a commercial premises.

They took a sum of cash, cigarettes and a female assistant’s mobile phone before leaving the premises and making off towards the Falls Road in a blue Volkswagen Passat.

One of the men is described as wearing a blue sports jacket with a hood and another male was wearing a red and navy hooded top.

There are no reports of any injuries.

The blue Volkswagen Passat was later reported on fire in the Roumania Rise at approximately 7.25pm.

Speaking of the incident, T/Detective Inspector Jenna Fitzpatrick, said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident at the premises in Blackmountain Grove area or the blue Volkswagen Passat being set on fire in the Roumania Rise area, or anyone who has any information to contact Police at Woodbourne on the non-emergency number, 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111”, she said.
