THUGS HUNTED OVER SCORCH DAMAGE TO NORTH BELFAST HOME

musgrave psniPOLICE are appealing for information following the report of criminal damage in the Silverstream Road area of north Belfast.

It is reported that at some time between 9pm on Saturday, 4th October and 1pm the following day, Sunday, 5th October, the front door of a residential property was found to have been scorched by a number of unknown persons. Fragments of a glass beer bottle were found at the scene.

Speaking of the incident, Constable Sarah Connor, Case Progression Team (CPT), said: “I would appeal to anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact Police at CPT, Musgrave Station the non-emergency number, 101.

“Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details, they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111”, she said.
