OPEN FOR BUSINESS: 35 jobs have been created with the opening of a new state-of-the-art SuperValu store in Crossgar, Co. Down. Local businessman and owner Gabriel Bell (pictured front) officially opened the store to the public today, Tuesday 30th September, alongside Musgrave Retail Partners (MRPNI) which supports the independent retail group SuperValu. Pictured with Gabriel are MRPNI Acting Managing Director Damian McCarney and SuperValu Sales Director Nigel Maxwell. The store design is focused on fresh convenience with exclusive ‘Prepared By’ ranges and a wide range of services including a butchery, deli, hot food bar and parking for over 70 vehicles. Energy efficiency is a key area of focus with sustainability messages displayed within the store. The store’s key location on the main road between Downpatrick and Belfast will provide an important service to passing trade as well as the local community.
