MORE SUSPECTS ARRESTED IN CRACKDOWN ON BELFAST CRIMINALS

musgrave psniTHE PSNI’S Reducing Offending Unit has had a busy week nabbing criminals and put them before the courts.

These include:

* a 28 year old man has been arrested and charged with a city centre theft and remanded in custody.

*  a 21 year old man has been arrested and charged with Aggravated Burglary and theft from a motor vehicle.

* an 18 year old man has been arrested and charged with Burglary, Handling Stolen Goods and Possession of a Class C Drug. He then broke his bail conditions and was arrested for Breach of Bail and remanded.

* an 18 year old man has been convicted of Vehicle crime and is awaiting sentence.

* a 17 year old youth has been convicted of assault and theft and is awaiting sentence.

* a 16 year old youth has been convicted of Robbery and is awaiting sentence.

* a 16 year old youth has been convicted of 3 counts of theft and 3 counts of criminal damage and is also awaiting sentence.

* a 15 year old has been convicted of two counts of assault and two counts of disorderly behaviour. One of his sentencing conditions is that the youth must engage with ROU on a weekly basis.

* a 15 year old youth has been convicted of theft and has been sentenced to 6 months imprisonment.
