DETECTIVES in north Belfast have charged a 23 year old man with criminal damage, threats to kill, assault on police and resisting police.

He was due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court today.

As is normal procedure the charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

It is understood the charges are believed to be in relation to an incident in the Woodvale Road area on Saturday 6th September when a car was damaged.
