POLICE have advised that there area number of diversions in place today, Sunday, 31st August in the North Belfast area.

This is due to a parade and a number of protests taking place during this time, causing traffic disruption.

Motorists are advised that the Antrim Road (lower end), Clifton Street and Carlisle Circus and the off-slips to the Westlink will be closed to traffic from 12 noon to approximately 4.30 pm.

Access to the Mater Hospital will be via Clifton Park Avenue or Agnes Street.

Delays are also expected in the Carrick Hill area; alternative routes are available and diversions will be in place.
