DETECTIVES have released two men aged 33 and 31 unconditionally after they were arrested in connection with the shooting of a 32-year-old man in Derry last month.

The victim was shot in both legs in the Lincoln Courts area of the Waterside.

He was treated for non life-threatening injuries.

The pair had been arrested in the Foyle area on Wednesday of this week by detectives from the PSNI’s Terrorist Investigation Unit (TIU).
