POLICE have appealed to members of the public to help them solve a case in which eggs were thrown at a church.

The incident at a church on Main Street in Bellaghy was reported to police yesterday afternoon.

Police are treating the incident as a hate crime and a PSNI spokesperson asked anyone who could assist the investigation to contact police on the non-emergency 101 telephone number.
