DETECTIVES from Musgrave PSNI station investigating an incident in the Chichester Street/ Victoria Street area of Belfast city centre earlier this week have arrested a man today.

The incident happened in the early hours of Tuesday 5th August, when a small explosion was heard in the area.

A dressed from head to foot in black was scene leaving the scene.

After studying CCTV footage in the city, detectives arrested a 47 year old man in Belfast this afternoon.

The man has been arrested on suspicion of a criminal damage related offence and is currently in custody helping police with their enquiries.
