POLICE have confirmed that a man in his 20’s has died following a single vehicle road traffic collision on the Doagh Road in Ballyclare during the early hours of this morning, Friday 18 July.

The man was travelling in a red coloured Citreon C2 car that left the road shortly before 1.30am close to Ballyclare Cemetery.

Two other men who were in the vehicle were taken to hospital for treatment for their injuries that are not believed to be life threatening.

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed the collision or anyone who was travelling on the Doagh Road around the time of the collision to contact the Collision Investigation Unit at Steeple Police Station on local Police in Newtownabbey on the non-emergency number 101.
