PETROL BOMB ATTACK ON EAST BELFAST POLICE STATION

Police scene armed copDETECTIVES are investigating after two petrol bombs were thrown at Willowfield Police Station in east Belfast last night.

The devices were thrown at the station from the direction of Willowfield Drive at around 11.40 pm on Sunday, July 13.

No damage was caused during the attack.

Anyone who was in the Willowfield Drive or Woodstock Road areas between 11.30pm and 11.45pm last night and who noticed any suspicious activity is asked to contact detectives on the non-emergency number 101.
