Detectives at Woodbourne CID appeal over carjacking

DETECTIVES in west Belfast are appealing for information following a carjacking in the Grosvenor Road area yesterday afternoon.

Police say that just before 12.15pm, it was reported that a car parked in the area when a man grabbed the arm of the woman driver, pulled her out of the car and made off in it.

The hijacked car is a grey Citroen C1.

The woman, who is aged 19, was not injured in the incident.

The man is described as being about 26 years old and was wearing a grey hooded top and tracksuit bottoms.
