THE Merchant Hotel celebrated the American holiday, Independence Day, in its Hamptons themed rooftop garden.

Guests enjoyed canapés and cocktails as they mingled in the new events venue at the city’s luxury 5 star Merchant Hotel, which features a purpose built beach hut bar and a chic nautical décor, creating the illusion of being at a VIP seaside resort in the heart of the city.

The food includes native Hamptons’ favourites including buttermilk chicken, crispy calamari and corn fritters as well as a refreshing range of cocktails, which will be served up at private events between now and the end of September.
