POLICE and emergency crews are at the scene of a serious crash in south Belfast this evening.

According to the PSNI, the accident on Milltown Road on the outer ring south of the Belvoir estate near a local petrol station involving a car and a motorcycle.

As a result of the crash, police have closed the road to motorists who are advised to take an alternative route.

There are no details as yet on the extext of injuries as paramedic crews tend the victims.
