THUGS HUNTED OVER BRUTAL NORTH BELFAST ASSAULT

Police scene armed copPOLICE in north Belfast are appealing for information following the report of an assault in north Belfast.

It happened at the junction of Alliance Avenue and Deepark Road area of Belfast in the early hours of Saturday, June 28.

It is reported that at approximately 1.30am, a 24 year old man was attacked by a group of 4- 5 males as he was walking along with his brother.

The man was kicked and punched and sustained injuries to his face which are not presently thought to be life threatening.

The males are described as being in their mid 30’s, over 6’ tall and of a heavy set build. One of the men had a bald head.

Police would ask anyone who witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact Police at Tennent Street on the non-emergency number, 101.
