DETECTIVES are appealing for information following a creeper burglary.

It happened in the Drumard Drive area of Coleraine in the early hours of Friday 20 June.

A red Vauxhall Astra was stolen from a house in the Drumard Drive area.

It was seen driving in the Strand Road area at approximately 4.15am and at approximately 5am it collided with five parked cars in the Upper Captain Street area.

The man who was driving the car then made off on foot and headed in the direction of The Heights area.

He is described as being aged in his early 20s, approximately 5’8″ tall and was wearing a purple hooded top, dark trousers and gloves.

Anyone who seen the red Astra, the man, or who has any information about this incident is asked to contact Coleraine Police Station on the non-emergency number 101.
