POLICE have charged a 47 year old man with disorderly behaviour linked to a race hate incident.

He is due to appear at Belfast Magistrates’ Court on Monday 30 June.

As is normal procedure, all charges are reviewed by the PPS.

The charge is believed to be in relation to an arrest in the Castle Lane area of South Belfast on the afternoon of Monday 2 June.

The arrest was in relation to a report of a hate crime incident.
