POLICE HUNT STOLEN CAR AFTER CREEPER BURGLARIES

PSNIDETECTIVES in Lisburn are appealing for information following a car theft in the Crumlin area and two creeper burglaries that occurred in the Lower Ballinderry area in the early hours of Monday 26 May.

A silver Peugeot 107 was firstly stolen from the Crumlin area and was later located in The Old Stables area of Lower Ballinderry.

At around 12.55 am, it is believed that car keys were stolen from a house in this area and a grey Ford Mondeo was taken.

Almost two hours later, it was reported that a man was attempting to steal a stereo from a car in the Ashcroft Way area of Lower Ballinderry. The man fled the scene when he was disturbed by the owner of the car.

At approximately 3.35am, it was reported that car keys were stolen from a house in the Brooke Lodge area of Lower Ballinderry and a black Alfa Romeo was stolen. The grey Ford Mondeo was located and recovered from this location.

The Alfa Romeo has yet to be recovered.
