ACC George Hamilton blamed UDA for Larne attacks

DETECTIVES investigating disorder in Larne on 30th March have arrested a 32 year old man under the Terrorism Act.

He has been taken to Antrim Serious Crime Suite for questioning.

The suspect was arrested in Larne on Monday morning during a planned operation.

He is the 21sth person to be arrested over the attacks when a 100-strong mob, many of whom were masked, attacked several homes.

ACC George Hamilton blamed the south east Antrim brigade of the UDA for the violence saying it was “on a power trip”.

This is the 21st arrest as part of the investigation. The man was arrested in the Larne area this morning, Monday 19th May.
