DETECTIVES are continuing to question a woman arrested over the stabbing of a man.

The 42-year-old victim was attacked at a car park in Coleraine’s Strand Road shortly after midnight on Sunday.

He sustained stab wounds to his back and was taken to the Causeway Hospital’s accident and emergency department for treatment to his injuries.

However, they are not thought to be life-threatening.

The woman, who is 26, is currently helping detectives with their inquiries about wounding the man with intent.
