Police arrest three men and two women after seizing £410,000 worth of cannabis plants across Belfast

THREE men and two women are being questioned over a £410,000 haul in raids across Belfast this week.

A 56-year-old man was arrested in Belfast and a 30 year old man was arrested in the Holywood area by detectives from the PSNI’s Organised Crime Branch.

The arrests were made in connection with the seizure during planned searches at addresses in North, South and East Belfast on Wednesday 30 April and Thursday 1 May.

Two men aged 25 and 48 and a 39 year old woman were arrested yesterday on suspicion of drugs trafficking offences and currently remain in custody assisting police with their enquiries.
