THE Alliance Party’s east Belfast office has been attacked again for a second night in a row.

Police said a passing patrol noticed paint had been thrown at the building on the Newtownards Road around 4 am.

Officers also found the remnants of a petrol bomb were also discovered at the premises which is the party’s constituency office for its east Belfast MP Naomi Long.

Seven petrol bombs were thrown at the office in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

Scorch damage was caused to the building and windows were smashed, but no-one was injured.

The police recovered CCTV footage of the attack showing at least four people, dressed in hooded tops, were involved.

They started throwing stones and bricks at windows of the office just before 11 pm.
