MAN ROBBED ROBBED AT KNIFEPOINT IN NORTH BELFAST

Police crime scene picPolice in Newtownabbey are appealing for information following the report of a robbery outside business premises in the Mallusk Road area of Glengormley yesterday, Thursday, 24 April.

At around 10.25am Police received a report that a male was approached by an unknown man brandishing a knife and robbed of a sum of money.

It is believed the unknown man left the scene in a light coloured car bearing the registration plate, ODJ 5531.

The man was not injured during this incident, however he was left badly shaken.

Police would ask anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who has any information to contact the new non emergency number 101. Or, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.
