Detectives at Woodbourne appeal over house gun attack

DETECTIVES in west Belfast are appealing for information following a hate crime shooting incident in the Whiterock Gardens area of Belfast last night.

Police received a report around 10.00 pm that a number of windows had been damaged at a house in the Whiterock Gardens area.

It is believed that the damage was caused by a number of shots being fired.

A man and woman who were home at the time escaped uninjured.

Detectives would ask anyone who may have witnessed this hate crime incident or anyone who has any information to contact them at Woodbourne on the new non emergency number 101.
