WEST BELFAST STABBING: MAN STABLE IN HOSPITAL

Woodbourne PSNI stationDETECTIVES are investigating after a man in his 20s was taken to hospital after he was stabbed in west Belfast.

The attack happened at around 8.20am on Easter Monday in the Lenadoon Avenue area of the city.

Paramedics rushed the victim to the accident and emergency department at the Royal Victoria Hospital.

However, a police spokesperson said the victim’s his injuries were not believed to be life-threatening.

Anyone with information about the stabbing is asked to contact detectives at Woodbourne CID on 101 or alternatively information can been passed to Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
