A 31 year old man has been charged over a bomb hoax.

Detectives charged the suspect communicating false information causing bomb hoax.

He has been further accused of wasting police time and criminal damage.

No details have been given into the nature of the offences

He is due to appear at Newtownards Magistrates’ Court tomorrow, Wednesday, 19 March.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
