TWO men are to face Belfast Magistrates’ Court today.

The men – aged  aged 23 and 44 , have been charged with aggravated burglary, possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence and possession of a firearm in suspicious circumstances.

They have also been charged with attempted blackmail and attempted false imprisonment.

They are both expected to appear before Belfast Magistrates Court later this morning, Wednesday 12 March.

As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.

The charges are in connnection with an incident in the Andersonstown area of West Belfast yesterday morning, Tuesday 11 March.
