POLICE are at the scene of a security alert in west Belfast.

Army technical officers are at the scene to examine a suspicious object.

The device was found at Bell Steel Road in Poleglass on Tuesday afternoon and as a result police have closed roads between Brians Well Road and Stewartstown Road while the clearance operation is ongoing

The ATO has also been tasked to the scene of a security alert at Market Square in Dungannon.

A number of premises have been evacuated by police while an object is examined
