COMMUNITY ALERT: SUSPICIOUS OBJECT REPORTED IN SOUTH BELFAST

Village bombRESIDENTS in part of south Belfast have been warned to be vigilant on Monday night following a report of a suspicious object.

As a result, people in Sandy Row and Donegall Road have been advised by the PSNI not to touch anything suspicious.

Instead, they are asked to contact the PSNI immediately on 0845 600 8000.

In a statement, the PSNI said: “We are dealing with a report that a suspicious object may be in this area.

“At this stage nothing untoward has been found.”
