THREE HELD IN SOUTH BELFAST DRUGS PROBE

Police crime scene picTHREE men were arrested by police following a report of suspicious activity near premises in the Markets area close to Belfast city centre.

Officers swooped at Cromac Street area on Monday afternoon shortly after midday.

Three men – agedĀ 34, 37 and 41 – were arrested on suspicion of possession of Class A drugs which was found on the premises and was taken away for forensic examination.

Following questioning at Musgrave Street PSNI station, all three men were later released on police bail pending further inquiries.
