THE ‘Big Two’ match at Solitude didn’t disappoint the neutral fan.

Joe ‘The Goal’ Gormely scored ‘two’ great goals that helped the Reds keep a rare clean sheet at home.

And the match was not without incident with ‘two’ sending offs – Michael Gault got the first red card and then Barry Johnston followed him straight after for raising his hands.

The game continued to simmer with Ryan Catney getting a yellow card and fans feared he would got to the changing rooms if he didn’t calm down.

It was a deserved result for Cliftonville but Linfield fans took to social networking sites after the game to give their views on the Blues performance.

One described their performance as “gutless and spineless”. Another said: “We can only out-muscle the smaller teams.”

Crusaders leap frogged Linfield and went top of the Danske Bank Premiere League with a a +5 goal difference.

As the league enters December, the coming two months will be a crucial period for Crusaders, Linfield and Cliftonville to see who can maintain their performances and who cant.
