POLICE say a bomb alert which forced families to evacuate their homes in north Belfast has now ended.

Army technical offices were sent tasked to Wall Street around 3 am in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

They examined a suspicious object and declared it a hoax.

In West Belfast, police and the ATO are at a second alert in Cavanmore Gardens following the discovery of a suspicious object.
