Police questioned man over dissident republican terrorist activity

THE PSNI’S Serious Crime Branch have released a 43-year-old man unconditionally after he was arrested in west Belfast over dissident republican terrorist.

Detectives detained the man on Monday morning under Section 41 of the Terrorism Act 2005.

He was taken to the Serious Crime Suite at Antrim police station for questioning.

However, the suspect was later released without charge.

Police have not released details of what he was arrested being questioned about in custody.
