Police in south Belfast warn of burglar targeting homes in south Belfast

THE PSNI have revealed details of a burglary in south Belfast.

At 7 am on Sunday, November 10, an elderly woman woke in her living room which is also her bedroom to discover a male going through her belongings.

He is described as 5 foot 4, white, slim build, in his 30’s, black top and bottoms, distinctive black hat with a white v on the front.

This incident occurred in Ramore park, Benmore estate. Please be vigilant and report anyone acting suspiciously and check on your elderly or vulnerable neighbours.

The PSNI said: “If anyone saw this male on Sunday morning please contact detectives at Musgrave street police station on 0845 600 8000.”

The public is asked for police to be sent out to check on anyone you believe to be acting suspiciously.

Said PSNI Balmoral: “It is better to be safe than sorry.”
