DETECTIVES have released a man arrested over a murder in Dundonald in 2004.
Officers are to send a report to the Public Prosecution Service following his arrest over the murder of David Hamiton, a porter at the Ulster Hospital in Dundonald.
Mr Hamilton, who was in his 40s, was beaten and kicked to death at his flat in the Ballybeen estate in November 2004.
He was beaten around the head with a brick and a television during the attack and died several hours later.
Three men were previously convicted of the murder.
The 37-year-old man was arrested in Bangor on Monday morning.
