Detectives in Dungiven hunt armed robber who held up shop

STAFF were threatened by a man believed to be armed with a gun at convenience store last night.

The man, also believed to have been carrying a hammer, demanded money from staff after entering the shop in Dungiven at around 10.30 pm before making off with a sum of cash.

None of the staff were injured but were left badly shaken.

Police have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
