UUP MLA Michael McGimpseyin condemns those behind burglary bids on OAP homes in south Belfast

UUP MLA Michael McGimpsey has urged the public to help police catch burglars targeting the homes of elderly people in south Belfast.

“The attacks on the homes of elderly residents within the Annadale area is absolutely reprehensible,” said the the south Belfast MLA.

“The attempt to gain access by burglars does serious harm to the well-being of the residents and to their piece of mind.

“It is a despicable crime.

“I urge anyone with any information to report it to the PSNI immediately,” he added.
