DETECTIVES are probing claims that a number of masked and armed men entered a bar in north Belfast.

Reports claim the dissident republican gang read out a statement during the incident around 12. 30 am on Monday.

The PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch is studying intelligence that the gang read out the names of a number of people.

They were then warned to leave the Ardoyne area.

The PSNI said inquiries by detectives were continuing and have appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
