Police appeal for information after a man had part of his ear bitten off in Holywood

A MALE has been questioned after part of a man’s ear has been bitten off in an attack in a garrison town.

The-year-old was assaulted in Holywood’s Sullivan Place around 11 pm on Friday night.

During follow-up inquiries, a 44-year-old man was arrested a short time and taken to Bangor PSNI custody suite for questioning.

However, he was now been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
