LORD Mayor Mairtin O Muilleoir is hosting Belfast Day at the City Hall this weekend.

The City Council says it is a celebration of Belfast’s diversity, including music, culture, sports, food and family fun on Sunday, September 29.

On show will an eclectic range of performances from blues, traditional, Asian and indie music to dance demonstrations and street theatre.

Inside the multi-cultural marquee visitors can get a taste for a new language, create a piece of Indian art, try origami or using chopsticks, get a hair braid or a henna tattoo.

Or visitors may prefer to try some urban sport, art and dance. Admission free: no tickets required.

Take an unforgettable Nearly True tour of Belfast’s City Hall, meeting captivating and eccentric characters along the way.

Tours will take place at 12 noon, 2pm and 4pm.
