DETECTIVES have charged a 25-year-old man over an aggravated house burglary this week.
He is accuased of causing grievous bodily harm with intent during the incident at a house in Ballymena, County Antrim.
He was one of three men arrested after the break-in at Carniny Road during the early hours of Thursday and stole an Audi car.
A man who was in house at the time was hit on the head with a metal object.
The 25-year-old is further charged with burglary and is due in Ballymena Magistrates’ Court on Saturday.
Two other men – aged 20 and 28 – were released on bail pending further enquiries.
