Police charge woman with possession of explosives in Cookstown

DETECTIVES from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch have charged a woman with possession of explosives.

The 36-year-old woman was arrested after a car was stopped by police on the County Tyrone town’s Drum Road.

She has also been charged with possession of items likely to be of use for terrorism.

The woman is due to appear at Dungannon Magistrates’ Court on Friday.
