Man and woman held by PSNI over dissident terror activity in Derry

DETECTIVES investigating dissident republican activity have arrested a man and woman.

The 44-year-old man and woman, aged 43, were detained in the Marlborough Avenue area of Derry on Monday by officers from the PSNI’s Serious Crime Branch.

The PSNI said searches are being carried out in he area as part of the investigation.

The couple were whisked away by car to the serious crime suite in Antrim.
