POLICE are investigating after a car was torched in west Belfast.
The driver’s side window of a Vauxhall Insignia car was smashed at Islandbawn Drive off the Falls Road.
A flammable liquid poured inside and the vehicle set alight.
The interior of the car was gutted by the blaze which was started on Thursday at around 1am.
Police are investigating a possible link between the fire and an incident the previous night when a number of bins were set alight in the same area.
Anyone with information about the attacks is asked to contact the PSNI on 0845 600 8000.
