Security alert in north Belfast over a suspicious object

A SECURITY alert is underway in north Belfast following the discovery of a suspicious object.

The Shore Road at Greencastle has been closed.

There are diversions in place between the Whitewell Road junction and the Mill Road junction.

The M2 motorway onslips are affected.

Army technical officers have been tasked to the scene.
