Police arrest PSNI officer over possession of Class A drugs

A POLICE officer has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a class A drug.

The PSNI said the man had been arrested as part of an ongoing investigation and had been suspended from duty.

He was arrested in Belfast on Wednesday.

The officer has since been released on bail pending further enquiries.
