Police hunting knife man who stole Kia car during test drive in west Belfast

DETECTIVES are investigating after a man stole a car after he threatened a salesman with a knife during a test drive in west Belfast.

The man was driving a Black Kia Proceed on the Boucher Road when he produced the weapon.

He then forced the sales representative out of the car at around 5.40pm on Wednesday.

The knife man then sped off in the direction of the Falls Road.

He is described as being in his mid 30s, of slim to medium build, dark short hair and was wearing jeans and a checked shirt.

Detectives want anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information in relation to the movements of the vehicle, registration DN10 WSZ, to contact them on 0845 600 8000.
